Vandana regularly speaks at events and provides HR/Employment training sessions to organisations. She has also been a lecturer at South Bank University and the Open University.

She is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners Association, Employment Lawyers Association, the European Employment Lawyers Association and a Committee member of the Asian Business Association.

Barry heads up Strategy and UK Advisory Services at Davenport Solicitors. At top level he brings the strategic expertise and business skill set traditional law firms usually lack.

He lays great emphasis on building strong relationships with clients, strategic partners, evaluating strengths and weaknesses and, responding quickly to changing regulations, economic factors, and international markets.

Barry advises and assists overseas business, entrepreneurs and individuals reach their global expansion goals into the UK. He applies a hands-on approach when assisting clients to understand their short and long terms objectives and to help them develop and implement a strategic UK market entry plan.

Varsha is a Solicitor, specialising in HR/employment law. She works closely with both employees and employers to advise on the full range of employment law issues. She qualified as an Employment Solicitor at a top 200 law firm and worked at a number of London law firms before joining Davenport Solicitors.

Here areas of expertise include: Advising and negotiating settlement agreements, drafting contracts of employment, advising on redundancy procedures and disciplinary and grievance processes as well as bringing and defending claims in the Employment Tribunal for unfair dismissals and claims under the Equality Act 2010.

She is passionate about providing technically excellent legal advice that meets the commercial objectives and realities of business. When acting for individuals she is passionate about providing a service that is not only legally astute but that is also sensitive and empathetic to the client’s situation.

Her most memorable case has been assisting in the landmark blacklisting litigation in the High Court which saw members of the GMB settle their claims against major construction firms for £5.4m, after the ICO discovered a database of construction workers that was used for the purposes of denying work to trade union and health and safety activists.

Varsha qualified as a Solicitor in 2018 and has since them specialised in HR and employment law.

Kaili is a solicitor at the firm, advising on UK immigration law and other UK in-bound immigration related matters for personal and private clients. Kaili has experience in personal immigration and business immigration. She qualified as a solicitor in 2020 and since then has specialised in UK immigration law. She assists with advising both individual clients and organisations on a range of UK immigration matters.

She has significant experience in family and private life matters such as: nationality and British citizenship applications under a variety of routes; family visas and visitor visas.

Kaili’s work in business immigration includes applications under the skilled Worker, PBS Dependant routes and innovator visas. She is also experienced with assisting on Sponsor Licence applications and renewals and providing advice on Right to Work checks, sponsor compliance and general business immigration guidance.

Ghisina acquired a law degree at Westminster University in 2021 and is has completed her LPC. She aspires to be a solicitor.

Having studied employment law throughout her legal studies and undertaking legal work experience she is well equipped to support our lawyers and clients in both immigration and employment law.
