Vandana has over 15 years’ experience in HR, Employment and Business Immigration, working with national and international organisations.

She advises businesses on a range of Employment law and Immigration matters from implementing employment contracts and policies, advising on complex employment litigation matters and day to day HR issues, advising on Sponsorship licences and managing them and advising on various business visa and worker routes.

As a business owner herself, she understands that challenges business owners may face and that’s why you’ll find that her advice is commercially sound as well as compliant. Many owners battle with running their business and also dealing with employee matters so her aim is to make HR and immigration law accessible to Employers so they can get advice from solicitors at the right time, right place and at the right price!

Vandana regularly speaks at events and provides HR/Employment training sessions to organisations. She has also been a lecturer at South Bank University and the Open University.

She has been Chair of the Governing body at a local school as well as a board member at the UK Asian Film Festival. She is currently a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners Association, Employment Lawyers Association, the European Employment Lawyers Association and a Committee member of the Asian Business Association. She is also a trustee of the Institute of Hospitality and a member of the hospitality subcommittee at the Better Hiring Institute.

Vandana is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.

As Head of Strategy & International Business, Barry Dass plays a senior leadership role in shaping Davenport Solicitors’ growth and global outlook. He advises the firm on long-term business strategy, ensuring alignment with market trends, client needs, and the evolving legal landscape.

In this role, Barry:

• Leads on strategic planning and positioning to strengthen Davenport’s competitive edge.
• Acts as the firm’s senior ambassador, representing Davenport with clients, partners, and professional networks in the UK and abroad.
• Develops and manages international business relationships, building strong connections with overseas companies, trade bodies, and government stakeholders.
• Supports the creation of ecosystem partnerships that help clients expand and thrive in the UK market.
• Works closely with the leadership team to explore new markets, alliances, and opportunities for sustainable growth.

Ghisina acquired a law degree at Westminster University in 2021 and is has completed her LPC. She aspires to be a solicitor.

Having studied employment law throughout her legal studies and undertaking legal work experience she is well equipped to support our lawyers and clients in both immigration and employment law.

Ghisina is excited to be part of the team at Davenport Solicitors and is looking forward to developing her expertise further in these areas of the law.

Ghisina is fluent in French.

Vinicius is a multilingual, dual-qualified lawyer in Brazil and England and Wales. With experience in public and private law, he specialises in Employment Law, providing clear and practical advice to individuals and businesses.

He brings a solutions-focused approach to his work. His background also gives him a unique perspective on international and cross-border issues, helping clients address challenges in today’s globalised work environment.
