How to Apply

  1. Apply Directly via Eligible Prizes

If you have won an internationally recognised prize in your field, you may apply immediately. These prizes demonstrate exceptional talent or promise as recognised by the Home Office.

  1. Endorsement Route (Two Stages)

Stage 1: Endorsement
Applicants must be endorsed by a Home Office-approved endorsing body. Each body has specific criteria, but generally, applicants must demonstrate:

  • Exceptional Talent: Recognised leader in their field
  • Exceptional Promise: Emerging leader with significant potential

Required Documents:

  • CV
  • Three letters of recommendation from established experts
  • Evidence of achievements, recognition, and prizes

Stage 2: Visa Application
Once endorsed, applicants may submit their visa application within 3 months.

  • Endorsement processing: Up to 8 weeks
  • Visa application processing:
    • Standard: 3 weeks (outside UK), 8 weeks (inside UK)
